Sharon is a self-taught artist who also writes her own songs and is currently recording an album of her music.
Although growing up in the North of England, Sharon fell in love with the West Country landscape and has spent the past six years in Somerset. Sharon quickly found she had a passion for the varied and magical Somerset countryside expressing her love for nature through her Art using oil paints and acrylics.
Sharon enjoys adding collage to her paintings, with things she finds in nature such as dried flowers, leaves, shells and pebbles. This gives her work a real feeling of 'being there' ... and she also loves to express her creativity using texture and colour in her abstract paintings.
Sharon writes;
"I'm a self taught artist I love to paint beautiful scenes of the natural landscape. I also love the freedom of expression in semi abstract art playing with colour and adding texture using collage and mixed media.
